sHYpS showcased at TRA 2026 in Budapest
25/05/2026
Last week, the sHYpS Project took part in the Transport Research Arena (TRA) 2026 in Budapest, Europe’s flagship event for transport research and sustainable mobility.
Throughout the event, project partner Navalprogetti Srl showcased the latest developments and achievements of sHYpS at the European Commission Stand B/20/1. Representing the project, Kristin Zuric, Filippo Rezzante, and Irene Lavagnini engaged with visitors, stakeholders, and fellow innovators from across the European transport sector.
In addition, Manuela Guiducci from PNO Innovation presented the project at the PNO Innovation booth, further promoting sHYpS and its vision for advancing sustainable maritime transport through hydrogen-based solutions.
The event provided a valuable opportunity to highlight how sHYpS is contributing to a more sustainable and efficient shipping industry through cutting-edge research, hydrogen technologies, and advanced naval engineering solutions.
TRA 2026 also fostered meaningful exchanges with other EU-funded initiatives. Among the highlights was the opportunity to connect with Thanapol Poojitganont from the HELENUS Project team, exchanging ideas and exploring potential synergies and future collaboration opportunities between sister projects.
Bringing together experts, researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders from across Europe, TRA 2026 once again proved to be a key platform for discussing the future of transport and mobility innovation.
We would like to thank everyone who visited the stands and connected with the sHYpS team during the event.
